Turkey And Toasts

Greetings! Lisa here…

One week until Thanksgiving, and I couldn’t be looking forward to it more! I can’t think of a more important reason to gather friends and family together than to reflect and be grateful for all the things we have, and all the people in our lives we love.

I’ve mentioned before that my late mother-in-law, Stella, was a huge Thanksgiving fan. The meals she served were always prepared with thoughtfulness, love, and not a little bit of skill. She was an excellent cook, a great hostess, and a wonderful mother-in-law. While she’s dearly missed, I’m thankful for the legacy she left behind and all the wonderful memories, too.

In that mood- I’d like to say thank you and tell you how thankful I am to have a customer base that’s a lot like family to me. She set it up, and I’m so proud to carry the torch for a company established with the same thoughtfulness, love, and intelligence that went into her epic Thanksgiving dinners!

So a few words of inspiration:

  • Sleep in.
  • Watch the parade.
  • Stay in your PJs.
  • Eat too much.
  • Give an impromptu toast.
  • Hug those you care about. (And anyone else who needs one!)

I sincerely hope you enjoy being together with friends and family this Thanksgiving, and that you get time to slow down enough to take it all in. If you know someone who may need a little company, invite them over and spread the cheer. Our time is limited here- it’s important to cherish it as best we can.

Take good care,

Lisa
